Sotbify is seeking a QA Engineer who will work closely with our engineering teams. The right person for this role will be involved in scripting integration tests and debugging of issues. You’ll join in triaging issues, work closely with developers to escalate blocking issues and investigate root causes. This is an opportunity to join a small test team and have a meaningful impact on the QA process and culture, as well as the products we release. Duties:

• Writing integration tests and driving test automation efforts;
• Creation of test plans and test reports;
• Execution of manual test cases;
• Issue tracking;
• Participation in both day-to-day software development workflows and release candidate testing.

Requires Skills:

• Experience with test tools, schedulers, frameworks, and harnesse;
• Ability to write tests in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools;
• Familiarity with dockers and virtualization;
• Experience with Git / GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins;
• Practical experience with Google Cloud.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geoanalytics, Geospatial Analysis, Carto, H3 is a plus;
• Mapbox experience is a plus.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in QA / test automation / software development.
